ISLAMABAD: Authorities have announced that Lake View Park, Daman-e-Koh, and Shakarparian/Monument will be family-only parks for all three days of Eidul Fitr 2026.

These parks are expected to be top destinations for families looking for a safe and enjoyable place to celebrate the festival. Entry for vehicles and motorcycles will be restricted to ensure a peaceful and family-friendly environment.

Officials have asked citizens to follow park guidelines and traffic rules for a smooth and fun experience. Special teams from the Islamabad Traffic Police will manage traffic across roads, markets, and recreational areas during Chand Raat and Eid.

Efforts will also focus on preventing reckless driving and one-wheeling. Chief Traffic Officer Captain R. Hamza Humayun held a meeting with traffic officials to review Eid preparations. Traffic officers will be stationed at help desks in markets, and full traffic management will be maintained during Eid prayers to ensure safety and convenience for everyone.
