Enemy Air Operations Over Central Iran Decline Sharply Following F-35 Strike: Intelligence Source

A high-ranking intelligence official has indicated that aerial operations by opposing fighter jets over central Iran have decreased significantly after an F-35 aircraft was hit. Iran’s integrated air defense systems are credited with effectively countering incursions by American and Israeli forces.

The official noted that coordinated defensive actions have inflicted repeated damage on hostile aircraft, resulting in reduced operational activity in the region.

“The multiple strikes by Iran’s integrated air defense system against American and Israeli invading aircraft have led to a significant reduction in military operations by American and Israeli fighter jets in the central regions of the country,” the source said.

He added that despite attempts by enemy forces to carry out disruptive missions, their objectives remain unfulfilled.

“After striking the F-35, the pace of military operations has decreased, although aircraft and drones are still being used for reconnaissance purposes,” he added.

The source also revealed that approximately 200 drones have been intercepted and destroyed. He emphasized that new defense strategies are being implemented, which could further increase the success rate against enemy aircraft.

“Given the defensive innovations against enemy aircraft, it appears that in the coming days, the rate of strikes against enemy warplanes will increase,” the source said.

The March 19 strike by Iran’s military reportedly targeted the advanced F-35 stealth jet, a key component of U.S. air power. Experts suggest this development may impact the broader strategic dynamics of the conflict.
