The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Multan is preparing to conduct the first annual matriculation examinations for 2026, with Class 10 exams scheduled to begin on March 27.
The board oversees several districts, including Multan, Khanewal, Vehari, and Lodhran.
According to the schedule, the English compulsory paper—often considered one of the more difficult subjects by students—will take place on March 30 in both morning and evening sessions.
Education experts emphasize that students should review past and model papers ahead of the exams to better understand the structure and format. Such materials also help identify commonly repeated questions that may appear in upcoming tests.
Past papers are regarded as a key preparation tool for Class 10 students under BISE Multan. They offer insight into exam patterns, question styles, and marking schemes, helping reduce stress and build confidence.

By practicing previous papers regularly, students can pinpoint important topics, improve time management, and enhance accuracy. Additionally, these papers allow learners to assess their level of preparation and identify areas requiring further attention.
Familiarity with past papers also enables students to experience exam-like conditions, which can contribute to improved performance and higher scores in the matriculation examinations.
The objective section of the English paper will include 19 questions, carrying a total of 19 marks, and students will be given 20 minutes to complete this portion.
