Resham Under Fire from Deedar, Mishi Khan Defends Her in Controversy

Punjabi actress Deedar has sparked controversy after making strong allegations against fellow star Resham during her appearance on an Eid special show.

Speaking on a private TV channel’s show, Deedar accused Resham of negatively impacting people’s lives. She remarked that while Resham is a talented actress, she has “destroyed many homes and lives.”

Deedar also made indirect remarks about Resham’s public image, including her cooking content and charitable work, implying that appearances could be misleading.

Talking about it, Deedar said, “Nargis is a great actor, but in a negative way, Resham is a very good actor. She is perfect at portraying negative stuff; she has destroyed many homes and lives. She is very negative in real life. I know about her cooking and charity stuff; I’m afraid that one day she might fall into the meals she cooks for others. I have a personal experience with Resham. She was first my friend for years, and I had a bitter experience, after which I am telling this and warning her current friends to beware of her—save yourselves.”

Mishi Khan shared a video on her social media in which she defended film actress Resham after Deedar spoke against her on Suno To Sahi.

Mishi Khan said, “All these shows include content designed to degrade other actors for ratings, even if it demeans them. Recently, a theatre actor was asked about Resham, and she said that Resham is a very negative person, plays negative roles perfectly, and has destroyed lives. If you’re making such claims, you should come with solid proof. Another singer sitting next to her also commented, ‘Woh to khana wana bhi banati hain.’ Yes, she cooks and distributes food to the poor—always appreciate those who are doing good deeds. If she had been destroying homes, she would have been married by now. Don’t dig into others’ pasts because you too have done many things and may still be doing them. Stop speaking against people—Resham is a lovely human being.”
