Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has reacted to the increase in the prices of petroleum products in the country.
Shahid Afridi, while issuing a statement on X, said that some malicious elements are trying to give the wrong impression by sharing my old video that I am defending the increase in petrol prices.
The former captain said that the fact is that this video was made before the recent increase. It was just an awareness video about energy conservation and reduced consumption, which was made at the request of the Ministry of Information.

Shahid Afridi said that the recent increase in the prices of petroleum products will break the backs of the downtrodden people, which is not possible to defend.
It should be noted that the government has increased the price of petrol to Rs 137.24 per liter and diesel to Rs 184.49 per liter.
