Netanyahu Threatens Erdogan Over Comments on US-Iran Ceasefire

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened Turkish President Erdogan over his recent statement regarding war between the United States and Iran.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday strongly criticized Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his recent statement regarding the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, vowing that Israel will continue its fight against Iran and its regional rivals.

According to foreign news agencies, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday, saying that Israel will continue its operations against Iran’s “terrorist regime” and the groups it supports.

The statement comes days after a ceasefire was agreed between the US and Iran. Following this development, the Turkish president warned US President Donald Trump that possible provocations or sabotage could affect the agreement, but he did not name any party.

Netanyahu said in his statement on the social media platform X that Israel will continue to fight against Iran and its allies under his leadership, while he accused Erdogan of tolerating such elements.

On the other hand, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz also criticized Erdogan, calling him a “paper lion.” He said that Erdogan could not respond effectively to the missile attacks by Iran and was now making statements against Israel.

The Israeli Defense Minister added that Israel will continue to take strong and determined measures to defend its security.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu claimed in a televised statement that joint US-Israeli operations had “crushed” Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs. He said Iran’s leadership and its regional allies had also been weakened.

He further said that Iran no longer has any active uranium enrichment facilities.
