Urea prices expected to increase again in Pakistan

Pakistan may see another increase in urea fertilizer prices as major producers consider raising rates once again.

Reports indicate that Fauji Fertilizer Company and Engro Fertilizers plan to raise urea prices by Rs. 75 to Rs. 100 per bag.

Currently, Fauji Fertilizer’s urea is priced at Rs. 4,286 per bag, while Engro Fertilizers is selling it at Rs. 4,436 per bag.

Recently, Engro had already increased its price by Rs. 150 per bag, taking it to around Rs. 4,435 per bag as of April 4, 2026.

If the new increase is applied, Fauji Fertilizer’s price may rise to around Rs. 4,361 to Rs. 4,386 per bag, while Engro’s rate could reach Rs. 4,511 to Rs. 4,536 per bag.

This possible rise in prices could add more pressure on farmers who are already dealing with rising input costs.

Overall, the fertilizer market in Pakistan remains under pressure as prices continue to move upward.
