Roma Riaz Steps Onto Cannes with Purpose and Pride

Pakistani model Roma Riaz is all to represent the country at the Cannes Film Festival next month calling it both an honored special momentous and expressive accountability. She shared that her appearance at such a worldwide stage is not just about distinct acknowledgement, but about awarding a more reliable and modern image of Pakistan to the world.

Roma highlighted that she wants to encounter typical stereotypes about our country womanhood by presenting that they are confident, educated and strong, full of determination. Simultaneously, she emphasized that modern individuality does not mean move out from our traditions—Pakistani women stunningly balance both.

Not only that, she also pointing out some significant issues such as self-confidence, body shaming, mental health, and skin tone bias, and reassure young women to hold themselves and feel self-confident in their own skin.

As she gets ready herself standing at Cannes Film Festival, she hopes to present Pakistan’s rich culture fashion, and creativity while proudly representing a new, empowered generation, and focused on representing Pakistan with confidence and pride on the global stage
