Fire Erupts at Paint Factory Near Multan Road in Lahore

LAHORE:  A massive fire broke out on Monday at a paint factory located near Multan Road in the Hanjarwal area, causing significant damage to equipment and machinery.

After receiving a report regarding the event, the emergency service quickly sent vehicles and firefighting squads to the scene. When rescue workers arrived, they discovered that the fire had started in materials kept on the plant grounds.

Currently, the firemen are attempting to contain the fire and stop it from spreading to neighboring regions.

The source of the fire is yet unknown, and no casualties have been reported as of yet.

A terrible fire occurred in Karachi earlier this year, causing damage to Gul Plaza and the deaths of multiple individuals.

The final investigative report into the fatal fire at Gul Plaza was finished by the Karachi commissioner. It included information on the number of deaths, the order of rescue operations, and the cause of the fire.

According to the sources, a committee made up of the Additional Inspector General (IG) and the Karachi commissioner wrote the report.

Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, would receive an official presentation of the results.

The report contains information gathered from victims, eyewitnesses, and rescue personnel, as well as information about the causes of the incident and how firefighting and rescue services responded to it.

On the basis of sources, the inquiry found that a toddler unintentionally set a fire inside a flower shop on the bottom floor.

The building’s air conditioning ducts allowed the flames to quickly spread to other areas of the plaza.

The cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage, though officials noted that an investigation will be launched once the site is fully secured. Authorities have advised citizens to avoid the Multan Road stretch near Hanjarwal to ensure a smooth passage for emergency services.
