Pakistan Navy conducts rescue of Indian crew of ‘MV Gautam’ vessel in Arabian Sea
The Pakistan Navy is carrying out a humanitarian rescue operation in the Arabian Sea, according to security sources.
Emergency assistance is being provided to the crew members of the vessel MV Gautam, which includes six Indian nationals and one Indonesian. The ship reportedly developed a technical fault while traveling from Oman to India.
Security sources said that the Maritime Rescue and Coordination Centre in Mumbai contacted Pakistani authorities for help after the incident.
In response, the Pakistan Navy deployed its ship PNS Kashmir to carry out the rescue and support operation.
The affected crew members are being provided with food, medical assistance, and technical support to ensure their safety and stability during the situation.
Officials said that the Pakistan Navy remains fully prepared to respond to any emergency situation at sea and continues to play an active role in humanitarian operations in the region.
