Islamabad rejects reports of Pakistani deportations from UAE
The Interior Ministry of Pakistan has strongly denied reports claiming that Pakistani citizens are being targeted or deported from the United Arab Emirates.
The ministry said that such news being spread on social media is false, misleading, and part of propaganda aimed at creating confusion. It clarified that no Pakistani community or any specific group is being singled out for deportation in the UAE or any other country.
Officials explained that deportation, where it occurs, is a normal legal process in any country. It usually happens due to visa expiry, breaking local laws, overstaying, or having invalid documents.
Ministry of Interior has taken notice of speculative reporting in sections of media especially social media about targeted deportations of Pakistani nationals from brotherly Islamic country of UAE.

The ministry also confirmed that Pakistani citizens continue to travel to the UAE for work. Many are still getting work visas after completing all legal requirements, and there is no discriminatory policy against them.
Authorities added that any issue involving Pakistani nationals abroad is handled through diplomatic channels between governments on a case-by-case basis.
The clarification came after media reports, including one from the New York Times, suggested that the UAE had taken certain actions involving Pakistani workers. The report also mentioned claims about political tensions and regional issues, but the Interior Ministry rejected these allegations as baseless.
Officials urged the public not to trust unverified social media posts and to rely only on official sources for accurate information.
