Damaged Iranian vessel MV Tosca arrives in Karachi for repairs
An Iranian vessel affected by a recent US strike has arrived in Karachi for repairs.
According to reports, the ship named MV Tosca was damaged during an attack on April 19 in the Gulf of Oman. The incident had drawn attention in regional maritime routes due to rising tensions in the area.
Officials say that the crew of the Iranian vessel was handed over to Pakistan by the United States after the incident. Later, the crew members returned to Iran via land routes.
The ship has now reached Karachi for necessary repair work and technical inspection. Authorities have not shared further details about the extent of the damage or the duration of repairs.
Maritime officials are expected to oversee the repair process as the vessel undergoes maintenance in Pakistan’s largest port city.
