Gold prices decrease in Pakistan – May 9, 2026: Check new rates
Pakistan’s local bullion market witnessed a slight decline in the prices of gold and silver, according to the latest rates issued by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs 400, bringing it down to Rs 493,662. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 343 to reach Rs 423,235.
For 22-karat gold, the price of 10 grams also dropped by Rs 314, with the new rate recorded at Rs 387,979.
Silver prices also showed a downward trend in the local market. Per tola silver became cheaper by Rs 12 and settled at Rs 8,513, while 10 grams silver decreased by Rs 10 to Rs 7,298.
In the international market, gold also saw minor fluctuations. The price per ounce fell by $4 to $4,713, while silver was recorded at $80.29 per ounce, showing a slight decline of $0.12.
According to the bullion association, gold and silver prices are set based on international market trends and interbank exchange rates, which is why daily fluctuations are commonly seen in local rates.
