Iran says US making Unreasonable Demands

Foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei says Iran’s proposal to end the conflict, unblock Strait of Hormuz is generous. While adding He said US demands are “Unreasonable” and “One-Sided”, where as during deal at such level both parties should agree upon mutual objectives.

The Spokesperson forced on unfreezing the Foreign Accounts and release the assets as soon as possible for a possible and fair agreement deal.

He added our demands are just, return our assets, stop war mongering and opening of ports.

“Safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz and establishing security in the region and Lebanon were other demands of Iran, which are considered a generous and responsible offer for regional security.”

Media post unnerved global energy markets with the price of the international benchmark Brent crude rising 4.65 percent to $99.95 a barrel during Monday morning trade in Asia specifically.

Oil contracts for the US benchmark West Texas intermediate also surged by just over 4 percent to $105.50 a barrel as investors braced for further disruptions to supplies through the strait.

It was also shared by Trump on Social Media.

Emmanuel Macron President of France and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer are in discussion of a coalition of more than 50 countries they said it will work to help enable the resumption of maritime transit in the region after the war.

Baghaei said Iran had “clearly said to the Europeans that they shouldn’t succumb to the US and Israeli hubris acts”.

“They should refrain from making any move that would undermine their interests. As I’ve said, this war is not only unethical, but it is also unlawful,” he said.

The spokesman added: “The US and Israel started their aggression against Iran. These European countries shouldn’t be fooled in order to get into this matter.”

Any interventions in the Strait of Hormuz will be dealt seriously, said Baghaei.
