Gold prices increase in Pakistan – May 12, 2026: Check new rates

After a continuous decline of three days in both local and international markets, gold prices witnessed a sharp increase today, while silver rates also moved upward.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola in the local market increased by Rs 4,100, reaching Rs 492,462.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 3,515 to reach Rs 422,206.

In the international market, gold saw a rise of $41 per ounce, pushing the global price to $4,701.

Silver prices also increased in the local market, where the rate per tola went up by Rs 395, reaching Rs 8,908.

The sudden rise has come after a brief downward trend, reflecting renewed activity in both global and domestic precious metals markets.
