Gold Price Falls Rs12,800 per Tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Monday, with the price of gold declining by Rs12,800 per tola in line with a drop in international bullion rates.

According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold was priced at Rs438,136 per tola after Monday’s decline.

The price of 10-gram gold also fell by Rs10,973 to Rs375,631.

International Gold Price Also Declines

In the international market, gold prices decreased by $128 per ounce, reaching $4,156 per ounce.

The decline in international bullion prices was reflected in the local market, resulting in a significant fall in gold rates in Pakistan.

On Saturday, gold had closed at Rs450,936 per tola after declining by Rs2,100 during the day.

Silver Price Also Falls

Silver prices also recorded a decline in the local market.

The price of silver fell by Rs325 per tola, reaching Rs6,578 per tola.

The latest movement comes amid continued volatility in international precious metals markets, with global gold prices influencing daily rates in Pakistan.
