Chicken meat prices drop in different cities

Chicken meat prices have decreased in several cities across Pakistan, bringing some relief to consumers.

In Lahore, the price of broiler chicken meat has been reduced by Rs14 per kilogram. After the decrease, the new price has been set at Rs519 per kg.

According to the official price list, live broiler chicken is being sold at Rs344 per kg in the wholesale market, while the retail price is Rs358 per kg.

On the other hand, the price of farm eggs remains stable. The rate of eggs is still Rs230 per dozen.

In Faisalabad, chicken meat has become cheaper by Rs15 per kg. The wholesale rate of live broiler chicken has been fixed at Rs339 per kg, while the retail price is Rs353 per kg.

Officials confirmed that egg prices in Faisalabad also remain unchanged at Rs230 per dozen.
