Canada Summons Israeli Ambassador Over Flotilla Video Footage

Canadian Foreign Minister says she’s directed officials to strictly summon Israel’s ambassador to Canada “regarding the mistreatment of civilians aboard the flotilla in Gaza, Palestine”.

“What we witnessed, including the video shared by Itamar Ben-Gvir, is deeply disturbing and absolutely against humanity,” Anand told media.

“Canada has already imposed strict sanctions on Ben-Gvir, including asset freezes and a travel ban, in response to his repeated incitement of violence. The protection of civilians and respect for human dignity must be upheld at all times.”

She added we will keep supporting Palestine and any kind of human rights violation is never appreciated.
