Israel Eliminates Hamas Armed Wing Head in Gaza Attack
Israel announced the killing of Mohammed Odeh, recently appointed leader of Hamas’s armed wing in Gaza, was killed in a strike after taking over following his predecessor’s death, with Hamas saying he was killed along with his wife and children.
Reports said Odeh ranked among the senior Hamas leadership in Gaza and had formerly headed its intelligence wing. Hundreds attended his funeral in Gaza City.
Israel stated that the move is part of its continuing efforts against Hamas leaders since the October 2023 attack. Several high-ranking commanders, have already killed such as Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and Mohammed Deif. Israeli authorities stated that they are focused on eliminating the individuals responsible for the attack.
As per Gaza’s civil defence agency, that a attack in central Gaza City swallowed 10 people life, including children, while several others were wounded.
Even though a ceasefire is in place, the condition still stressed as each side remains to accuse the other of cracks. The current conflict has triggered momentous loss of life and harm in Gaza, as Israel continues to strikes on Hamas leaders.
