Trump says US will only accept good deal for America
Donald Trump has said in a recent interview with Fox News that the United States will only agree to a deal that is beneficial for the country.
He said that making negotiations is his job and he is focused on doing it effectively. He also added that Iran is a strong and clever negotiating partner.
Trump claimed that the United States currently holds strong bargaining power, saying it has the “upper hand” because of past military actions.
He further stated that Iran’s navy and air force have been “completely destroyed,” while adding that Iran’s army was left to some extent because it is relatively moderate.
He also criticized the Iraq war, calling it a “very foolish decision,” and said that the United States should not have been involved in Iraq. According to him, mistakes in wars can destroy countries for decades and make recovery very difficult.
Trump added that if a war leads to total destruction, a country may take up to 40 years to rebuild.
On Iran, he said that military operations might not have been necessary, but claimed that Iran still had the capability to launch attacks.
Overall, Trump emphasized strong negotiation, military strength, and a cautious approach toward foreign conflicts.
