Xiaomi 18 leaks suggest larger screen and bigger battery

The Xiaomi 18 is expected to launch in September, according to recent reports. A new leak from China has now shared early details about the phone’s display, battery, and camera features.

The device is said to feature a 6.4-inch flat display, slightly larger than the 6.3-inch screen on the Xiaomi 17. It will also keep the same 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen is expected to upgrade to a “2K” resolution, along with ultra-narrow bezels and rounded corners for a more modern design.

Battery improvements are also expected. The Xiaomi 18 may feature a large battery starting with a “7”, possibly around 7,000mAh to 7,800mAh. This would be a major upgrade compared to the Xiaomi 17, which has a 6,330mAh battery.

Camera details for the standard model are still unclear. However, reports suggest that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max could feature dual 200MP cameras for both main and telephoto lenses.

Earlier leaks also indicate that the standard Xiaomi 18 may include a 200MP telephoto camera, along with a 50MP main sensor similar to its predecessor.

Overall, the Xiaomi 18 series is expected to bring major upgrades in display quality, battery life, and camera performance.
