Trump Highlights US Role in Israel’s Security & Military Capabilities

US President Donald Trump has said that Israel’s security and military position in the region depends heavily on American support, arguing that Israel would have been “crushed” without US backing. He made the remarks while speaking about US–Israel relations on Friday.

Trump stated that Washington provides critical military assistance, including advanced weapons systems and missile defense capabilities such as the Iron Dome. He also referred to US strategic assets like B-2 bombers, saying they underscore the scale of American military support available to allies.

He further described a close working relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasizing that the United States plays a major role in shaping Israel’s defense decisions and broader regional posture through its military aid and political influence.
