Fire Breaks Out at H-9 Sunday Bazaar in Islamabad

A major fire broke out at the H-9 Sunday Bazaar in Islamabad, prompting an emergency response from rescue and firefighting teams.

According to rescue officials, four fire brigade vehicles were immediately deployed to the scene and are actively engaged in efforts to bring the blaze under control.

Rescue sources reported that the fire spread rapidly through the market, resulting in the destruction of an entire section of the bazaar. The intensity of the flames caused extensive damage to commercial stalls and surrounding structures.

Officials stated that more than 80 shops were affected by the fire as it moved across different parts of the market.

Due to the scale of the incident, additional firefighting vehicles and rescue teams were called in from Rawalpindi to support the ongoing operation and prevent the fire from spreading further.
