Australia visit visa (Subclass 600): Fee and minimum bank balance in Pakistani rupees
Australia offers the Visitor Visa (Subclass 600) to Pakistani citizens who want to visit the country for tourism or to meet family and friends.
The visa is for people applying from outside Australia and usually allows a stay of up to three months. It may be issued as a single-entry or multiple-entry visa. A multiple-entry visa allows visitors to leave and return to Australia while the visa is still valid.
Visitors can also study or attend short training courses for up to three months. However, they are not allowed to work while staying in Australia on this visa.
The application fee for the Australia Visitor Visa starts at AUD 200 per person.
Applicants may also have to pay extra charges for medical examinations, police clearance certificates, and biometric verification.
Australia does not have a fixed minimum bank balance requirement for the Visitor Visa. However, applicants must show they have enough money to pay for return air tickets, accommodation, and daily expenses during their trip.
Most applicants provide between AUD 5,000 and AUD 10,000 in available funds, along with bank statements from the last three to six months.
Based on the current exchange rate, AUD 5,000 is about Rs959,200, while AUD 10,000 is about Rs1,918,400.
Keeping funds within this range can help show that an applicant has enough financial support for their visit to Australia.
