School Roof Collapse in Lahore Leaves One Child Dead Several Injured

A school roof collapsed during an expansion project in Lahore’s Baghbanpura area, resulting in the death of one child and injuries to five others, according to Rescue officials. The incident occurred while construction work was underway on the school’s roof.

Rescue authorities said a summer camp was in progress at the time of the collapse, with a large number of children present inside the school. Emergency responders successfully evacuated 59 children from the premises, while rescue efforts continued to ensure that no one remained trapped.
