Iranian President Calls for Massive Turnout at Ayatollah Khamenei’s Funeral

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called on the public to participate in large numbers in the funeral of the Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. In a message addressed to the nation on Thursday, Pezeshkian said the public’s presence would send a strong message of unity and resilience in the face of terrorism, violence, and external pressure.

According to the president, a massive turnout would demonstrate the Iranian people’s determination to safeguard their country’s independence, dignity, and national unity. He described the gathering as a clear signal to the international community that Iran remains united despite recent challenges.

Pezeshkian also said that no event would weaken the nation’s resolve to build what he described as a prosperous, free, powerful, and proud Iran. The remarks were made ahead of the farewell and burial ceremonies for Martyred Ayatollah Khamenei, whom Iranian authorities said was martyred during the recent conflict involving the United States and Israel.
