Former AJK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Joins IPP Along With Political Allies

Former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas met Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) leader Abdul Aleem Khan and announced his decision to join the party along with his supporters. The development marks a significant political shift ahead of future electoral activity in the region.

Alongside Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, former AJK Health Minister also formally joined the IPP, strengthening the party’s presence in the region. Additionally, Sardar Iftikhar Rasheed, former adviser to the AJK Prime Minister, also announced his inclusion in the party.

Leaders joining the IPP expressed full confidence in Abdul Aleem Khan’s leadership, stating that the party’s agenda aligns with their political vision. The new entrants are expected to play a role in strengthening the party’s organizational structure in Azad Kashmir.
