Govt raises Kerosene price, cuts petrol and diesel rates
The government of Pakistan has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs4.09 per litre, effective from July 4.
According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the new price of kerosene oil is Rs231.14 per litre. Previously, it was priced at Rs227.05 per litre.
The increase means consumers will now pay Rs4.09 more per litre for kerosene.
At the same time, the government has reduced the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs1.97 per litre.
According to the latest notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the new price of petrol is Rs297.53 per litre, while diesel will now cost Rs309.50 per litre.
The revised fuel prices came into effect immediately.
