Hamas Warns Against Israeli Claims, Urges Upholding Gaza Ceasefire

GAZA: The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has cautioned against Israeli claims regarding the group’s alleged military expansion, describing them as “obvious incitement” intended to justify continued attacks and violations of the ceasefire in Gaza.

In a statement released on Sunday, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem urged media outlets to verify information attributed to Israeli sources, warning against reporting that could fuel hostility toward Palestinian factions and civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Qassem further stated that Hamas, along with other armed groups in Gaza, remains committed to the ceasefire agreement. He called on international mediators to ensure that Israel fulfills its obligations under the deal and halts what he described as ongoing violations.
