President Pezeshkian Pays Tribute to Ayatollah Khamenei, Calls for National Unity

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, taught that the nation’s greatest strength lies in its people and their unity. In a post on X on Monday, the president said Iran would continue that legacy through solidarity, consensus, and dedicated service to the public.

Quoting a verse from the Holy Qur’an, Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of standing together with sincerity and purpose. He said empathy, national cohesion, and service to the people would remain central to advancing Iran’s dignity, progress, and national pride.

The president’s remarks came as large crowds gathered in Tehran for the funeral procession of Martyred Ayatollah Khamenei. The ceremony drew millions of mourners, with participants paying their respects during one of the largest public gatherings held in the Iranian capital in recent years.
