Hamas Official Praises Khamenei’s Support for Palestinian Cause

A senior Hamas official, Osama Hamdan, has praised Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, describing his commitment to the Palestinian cause as exceptionally strong. In remarks published on Monday and carried by Arabic-language media, Hamdan said the Martyred Iranian leader consistently supported what he called Palestinian “resistance” against Israel.

Hamdan stated that Khamenei’s position on Palestine went beyond conventional political support and reflected a long-standing ideological stance. He said the Iranian leader maintained his backing without hesitation over the years and viewed the issue as central to broader regional and religious unity.

The Hamas representative further said Khamenei regarded the Palestinian cause as a strategic and unifying issue for the Muslim world. The comments reflect the close political alignment between Iran and Hamas, though they represent the perspective of the movement rather than an independent assessment.
