Scholar Highlights Ayatollah Khamenei’s Intellectual Legacy and Influence

A prominent scholar of interfaith dialogue has praised what he described as Martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s lasting intellectual and social legacy, saying his influence should be measured through the ideas and values he promoted rather than political positions or public recognition.

Speaking to International media, Sayyed Ali Sayyed Qassem, a member of the Vatican-based Pontifical International Marian Academy, said the legacy of Ayatollah Khamenei lies in inspiring generations to connect faith with social responsibility, knowledge, and awareness. He described this approach as a broader civilizational vision aimed at building informed and engaged communities.

The Lebanese scholar said historical figures should be evaluated by the awareness they create and the impact they have on society. He added that, from his perspective, Ayatollah Khamenei’s influence extended beyond national boundaries and reached wider Muslim communities and global audiences.
