Rajkummar Rao Shares First Look of Dada-The Sourav Ganguly Story on Ganguly’s Birthday

Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao has revealed the poster of his forthcoming biopic of legendary Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly, titled Dada – The Sourav Ganguly Story.

The first look of the film dropped at the birthday of the 54-years-old of former Indian captain as film story in based on his life.

The movie poster shows, Ganguly’s well-known shirt-waving celebration from the Lord’s balcony after India’s NatWest Trophy win over England in 2002, recreated by Rajkummar Rao seems that he played Ganguly’s character in the movie

The biopic makers also unveiled that the film will drop on the theaters on 14 May 2027.

The Queen actor took his Instagram and posted the film’s first look along with the birthday wished to the former skipper on his special day, “Happy birthday our dearest Dada. @souravganguly”

Not only that, he penned captioned, HE DIDN’T JUST PLAY THE GAME, HE CHANGED IT”

Following the post, Ganguly response himself by reacting the announcement, he shared the post on his Instagram account along with the captioned: “The Best Gift Ever! Can’t wait to see you play my cover drive! @rajkummar_rao”
