BTS Celebrates RM’s Birthday Early With Special Surprise in Los Angeles

BTS found a special reason to rejoice during their final Los Angeles concert, fetching RM’s birthday forward with a bombshell celebration for their leader, generating a special moment for the group and their fans.

On Sunday night, September 6, the seven members of BTS celebrated RM’s birthday with BTS ARMY during the fourth and final night of their sold-out Los Angeles concerts at SoFi Stadium. The show was part of the group’s ARIRANG World Tour.

The celebrations began backstage during the group’s day-four soundcheck. Kim Namjoon aka RM get a surprise birthday cake from his BTS members and staff, covered with colourful candles. In the celebration video, RM can be seen ingoing a room packed with colorful balloons with the birthday cake in his hands. He look casual in a grey hoodie and black cap, and appeared amusingly surprised as the people around him combined the birthday celebration.

The fun continued during the concert. Suga helped give RM a special birthday look by placing a colourful “Happy Birthday” sash around his shoulders. He then added a pink paper crown, leaving the 31-year-old singer smiling shyly as he enjoyed the moment with his bandmates and fans.

The Los Angeles concert also marked the end of BTS’ North American leg of the ARIRANG World Tour. The group will now continue the tour in Latin America.

Why Did BTS Celebrate RM’s Birthday Ahead of Time?

RM’s actual birthday is September 12, but BTS will not be together in Los Angeles on that date because their North American concerts end on September 6. With the members’ schedules taking them to different places, they chose to celebrate early while they were all together, giving RM and BTS ARMY a memorable birthday moment.
