Qalibaf Says Iraq Funeral Procession Honored Khamenei’s Legacy and Called for Justice

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has said that the large funeral procession held in Iraq for Martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was not only an expression of mourning but also a demonstration of support for his legacy and a call for accountability over his martyrdom.
In a message addressed to the Iraqi people on Thursday, Qalibaf praised what he described as the “immense presence” of Iraqis at the funeral procession, saying the gathering reflected their continued support for Ayatollah Khamenei’s views and political legacy. He said the event represented more than a farewell ceremony and carried a broader message from millions of mourners.
Qalibaf stated that Ayatollah Khamenei dedicated his life to the unity and dignity of Muslims, defending what he described as justice and the rights of oppressed people. He added that the funeral procession was a symbol of solidarity and a tribute to Khamenei’s role in regional and international affairs.
