Maryam Nawaz Announces More Scholarships, Laptops and School Upgrades

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that the youth of Punjab have great talent but many cannot continue their education because of financial problems.

Speaking at a ceremony in Arifwala, she said the Punjab government has launched the Honhaar Scholarship Program to help students continue their studies. She added that students are also being trained and supported to study abroad.

Maryam Nawaz said the Punjab government will continue to support young people until they achieve their goals. She said development projects are underway across the province and that every resident of Punjab is her responsibility.

She said she always comes before the public after completing development projects. According to her, the law and order situation in Punjab has improved and women and girls are safer.

The chief minister said the provincial government is responsible for serving 130 million people. She said Punjab has 49,000 schools, and 10,000 government schools have been upgraded over the past two years.

She added that students are being provided with laptops, electric bikes, and iPads. The government is also setting up 6,000 new AI labs in schools and plans to distribute another 100,000 laptops and 50,000 scholarships.

Maryam Nawaz said 200,000 houses have been built under the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar program, and the government aims to increase the number to 500,000 over the next three years.

She also said the School Meal Program has helped increase student enrollment, while storage tanks are being built to improve water drainage.

Referring to Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Maryam Nawaz urged people to support the PML-N in the upcoming elections. She said the party would expand development projects in the region and stressed that no one would be allowed to spread violence or unrest in Azad Kashmir.
