Reports claimed that Prince Harry wants to make more trips to the UK if he is given taxpayer-funded security, which bring criticism for him.
According to reports, on 10 July the first family meeting in four years with King Charles at Highgrove, made Prince Harry’s mind to fight for full security protection.
Right now, Duke of Sussex facing legal quarrel with the UK government, as moving to the United States and stepped down on working royal in 2020.
He lost a legal appeal last year over the decision to scale back his security during visits to the UK.
The reports fueled online debates, as one social media user wrote on X “We don’t want him here.”
Someone shows curiosity that, why Prince Harry wanted UK security if he was “happy and settled overseas.”
Another user expressed the view that the Duke of Sussex should not be provided taxpayer-funded protection after leaving royal life.
“The Mirror” disclosed that after a new prime minister takes office, Prince Harry is expected to seek another review of his UK security arrangements from the Home Secretary.
According to Duke of Sussex the main reason of his family rarely visit the UK is the security issue. Also, He said his children would not feel secure or at home in Britain unless they could be properly protected during their visits.
Last year during BBC interview, speaking about the dispute, Prince Harry said King Charles was “not speaking” to him over the security matter, but added that he remained hopeful the family could reconcile.
