CM Punjab Launches Health Connect Program to Bring International Specialists to Public Hospitals

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Punjab Health Connect Program, aimed at improving healthcare services by bringing overseas Pakistani and foreign specialist doctors to government hospitals. The initiative seeks to expand access to high-quality medical care for patients across the province.

Under the program, foreign and Pakistani-origin medical specialists will provide free treatment in public hospitals while also training local doctors and healthcare staff in advanced medical techniques. The initiative is intended to enhance the skills of the provincial healthcare workforce alongside improving patient care.

Maryam Nawaz said the Punjab government is committed to providing world-class healthcare services in public hospitals and transforming the province’s health system in line with international standards. She added that the program reflects the government’s broader efforts to modernize healthcare and improve medical services for the public.
