PM Shehbaz speaks to Saudi crown prince, condemns ‘unacceptable’ attack on vessels in Red Sea

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke by phone with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and strongly condemned the Houthi militia attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.

The prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, saying such attacks are unacceptable and pose a threat to international law and regional peace and security.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Field Marshal and the people of Pakistan stand with the Saudi leadership and people.

The two leaders agreed on the importance of ensuring safe maritime trade in the Red Sea and the Strait of Hormuz. They also agreed to continue close cooperation to promote regional peace, security and stability.
