US Congressional Delegation Meets Field Marshal Asim Munir at GHQ

A delegation of the United States Congress visited Pakistan’s General Headquarters (GHQ) and held a meeting with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The visit reflected continued high-level engagement between Pakistan and the United States on matters of mutual interest.

According to the ISPR, the discussions focused on Pakistan-US defense cooperation, regional security, and issues of shared strategic importance. Both sides exchanged views on the evolving regional security environment and the importance of maintaining constructive bilateral engagement.

The U.S. congressional delegation included Representatives Ryan Keith Zinke and Michael James. The ISPR said the meeting underscored the commitment of both countries to strengthening cooperation and dialogue on defense and regional stability.
