DG ISPR Holds Special Session with Summer Internship 2026 Participants on National Security and Responsible Social Media Use

The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held a special interactive session with participants of the Summer Internship 2026 program, discussing national security, terrorism, information warfare, and the responsible use of social media. More than 6,000 students from 21 stations across Pakistan are participating in the internship, and the DG ISPR responded to a wide range of questions raised by the attendees.
During the session, participants were provided guidance on identifying propaganda, avoiding misinformation and unverified news, and promoting responsible digital engagement. Attendees said the comprehensive discussion helped clarify misconceptions surrounding national security issues and provided a better understanding of the challenges facing the country.
According to the participants, the detailed briefing on what they described as Indian propaganda and Pakistan’s perspective helped them better understand the issues from Pakistan’s viewpoint. They appreciated the fact-based discussion and expressed their commitment to promoting accurate information, using social media responsibly, and countering misinformation and hostile propaganda.
