KP Citizens Back Creation of New Provinces for Better Governance

The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have showed support for aggregate the number of provinces, considering that minor organizational units can make government services more operational and reachable.

According to citizens, the increasing the number of provinces puts pressure on governments and affects their ability to provide timely and effective facilities to the public. They believe that increasing the number of provinces would improve access to government services and allow faster solutions to public concerns.

Locals said that restructuring areas into smaller administrative units at the divisional level would ease pressure on current assemblies and improve service delivery. Residents said that separate leadership structures for each region could help officials better understand and address local challenges.

According to citizens, the better governance systems can strengthen public institutions, and allow public problems to be solved closer to communities.

They emphasized that the creation of new provinces should be based on administrative needs and public interest. According to them, stronger local governance can play an important role in making Pakistan a more efficient and functional state.
