Electricity Prices May Rise for Three Months Under Quarterly Adjustment
ISLAMABAD: Electricity prices may increase by Rs1.34 per unit every month for three months under the quarterly adjustment mechanism.
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has reserved its decision on a request from power distribution companies to pass an additional burden of Rs34 billion on to consumers.
Sources said electricity prices could rise by Rs1.34 per unit each month for three months.
NEPRA will announce its decision after completing a detailed review of the request and related data.
