CM Murad Ali Shah Highlights Free Cardiac Treatment at NICVD

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that free treatment for heart diseases is continuing at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), describing the institution as a source of hope for patients from across Pakistan. Addressing a ceremony in Karachi, he said the provincial government remains committed to improving healthcare facilities.
The chief minister said the newly established cardiac emergency department would ensure timely treatment for patients requiring urgent medical attention. He said the facility would remain operational around the clock and was equipped with modern medical facilities to provide immediate and effective cardiac care.
Murad Ali Shah emphasized that healthcare remains among the Sindh government’s top priorities. He said continued investment in modern medical facilities and accessible treatment was essential to improving public health services and ensuring that patients, regardless of their financial circumstances, could receive quality medical care.
