Gold price falls by Rs500 per tola in Pakistan
Gold prices saw a slight decline in Pakistan on Saturday, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs500 per tola in the local market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold was priced at Rs459,936 per tola, down from Rs460,436 in the previous session.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs429 to Rs394,320.
The decline in local gold prices came after a small drop in international bullion prices. Gold fell by $5 to $4,375 per ounce in the international market.
Gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by international bullion rates as well as changes in the rupee-dollar exchange rate.
Market data also shows that domestic gold prices have remained volatile in recent days due to changing global bullion trends.
