Marvel’s ‘Ghost Rider’ Starring Ryan Gosling Set for 2028

The release date of Ghost Rider, starring Ryan Gasoline as the famous motorcycle-riding baddie has officially announced by Marvel Studios. The most awaited film will dropped in the theater on July 28, 2028 making it among the three Marvel films scheduled to arrive in 2028.

The releasing news was revealed as part of Disney’s latest lineup updates after the D23 fan event. December 15, 2028 scheduled for Black Panther, earlier, May 5, 2028 an untitled X-Men reboot will expected to be on screens.

The cast of Ghost Rider also unveiled during Marvel’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con in July. Shawn Levy, who directed Deadpool & Wolverine, was also announced as the film’s director.

The lead actor Gosling shows his eagerness about the role stating that this time Ghost Rider was a character he had long wanted to play. He also revealed that Levy was his first and only choice to direct the movie.

The idea for the film reportedly came from conversations between Gosling and Levy, while working together on Star Wars: Starfighter, which will be released on May 28, 2027.

Starfighter’s writer Jonathan Tropper also joined to film and write the Ghost rider screen play. The makers are planning to start filming in 2027.

Kevin Feige has not confirmed about which version of Ghost Rider Gosling will portray. There has been plenty of fan speculation that Gosling will play Johnny Blaze, but the studio has not confirmed it.
