‘Never Seen an Actor Like Him’: Sarwat Gilani Reveals Aamir Khan’s Praise for Moin Akhtar

The most talented actress of Pakistan Sarwat Gilani has unveiled that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan once contacted her after after her popular web series Churails gained attention in India. Rather than talking about a film opportunity, Khan was interested in getting episodes of the popular Pakistani show Loose Talk.

During a recent interview, Gilani remembered how she first connected with Khan’s team. She explained that the international release of Churails opened the door for her to connect with people from India. She was also in touch with someone from Aamir Khan’s production team.

When Khan’s team contacted her, Gilani initially thought she might have received an offer to work in a Hindi film.

“I thought, ‘Wow, Aamir Khan! Maybe now I’m going to be in a Hindi movie’,” she recalled.

However, she soon discovered that Khan wanted access to episodes of Loose Talk, particularly because of the late Moin Akhtar’s remarkable performances.

According to Gilani, Khan told her that he had never seen an actor who could portray so many different characters and looks. His concern emphasized the permanent impression of Akhtar’s work, even years after the show ended.

The popular show Loose Talk was created and penned by Anwar Maqsood. who also served as the host, with Moin Akhtar portrayed a new character nearly every episode. First time it broadcast on ARY Digital in 2002, and continued for over 400 episodes across two seasons.
