Meera’s Househelp Retracts Assault Allegation, Calls Viral Video AI-Generated
A video sparked widespread attention on social media which depicting that Pakistani actress Meera involved in an altercation with her domestic helper in Lahore.
The footage reportedly captured Meera allegedly showed her that she slapping her domestic helper at her residence in Lahore’s Defence B area. The video instantly went viral after evolving on social media.

Police later looked into the matter and revealed that the footage was recorded in June 2026. Police called both Meera and her househelp in for questioning according to DIG Operations spokesperson.
The househelp told police during the investigation the dispute had been settled mutually by both parties. She further stated in writing that she had no intention of taking legal action against the actress.
Later, the helper denied her accusation of physical attack, claiming that the video roaming on internet was AI-generated. She confirmed that she is still working in the actress house and praised Meera by called her as a “very nice woman.”

According to police, Meera had previously reported the maid for allegedly taking some of her personal belongings. But later, Meera taking back the complaint after after the maid returned the items.
Police confirmed that the dispute between the two parties had been resolved and that the househelp did not wish to pursue any legal action against Meera.
