Ariana Grande Seeks Court Help to Identify Alleged Hackers

20 August, 2026 14:10

Ariana Grande is pursuing legal help to find suspected hackers who reportedly retrieved accounts linked to her team and leaked unreleased music and private material.

As per TMZ reports, Grande’s legal team is asking the court to allow subpoenas to online platforms and other third parties that may hold information about those allegedly involved in the hacking.

The singer publicized that she has spent years trying to uncover the identities of those responsible. She alleged that the hackers operated through anonymous accounts and digital payment services to hide their identities.

The singer’s lawyers believe some companies may have important account that may help uncover the identities of the individuals listed as John Does in the case.

Her lawyers also say the matter is urgent because the alleged hacking and leaking activity is reportedly continuing. They are concerned that important records could be lost if accounts are deleted or data is removed.

The singer’s latest legal move comes after she sued several unidentified individuals last month. She charges that they gain access to accounts belonging to photographers and producers connected to her and stole unreleased songs, photos and recordings.

Grande claims that the alleged activity dates back to at least 2019, with 45 unreleased songs allegedly stolen and leaked in 2023 alone.

The identities of the alleged hackers have not been made public, while the case remains ongoing.
