Iran Vows Retaliation After US Strike on Larak Island

Tehran: The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has confirmed that several Iranian personnel and civilians have been martyred and injured in the US attack on Lark Island, but the final number of casualties has not been given.
According to the Revolutionary Guard Corps, the US attack will be responded to and those responsible for the action will be punished.

Earlier, a US official had said that US forces targeted two rocket launchers of the Revolutionary Guards on Lark Island.

According to US officials, at the time of the attack, the launchers were preparing to launch rockets carrying naval mines towards the Strait of Hormuz.

On the other hand, Iranian media has claimed missile attacks on US military installations in the region and US ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Iranian TV, missiles were fired at US military bases, while Press TV claimed that US ships in the Strait of Hormuz were also being targeted with missiles.
